Project Club: New Year’s Eve Invite

This last Project Club Card for 2014!

So, I would like to wish you all a Happy Holiday and a Happy New Year....




 How to Make:

  • Cut a piece of dark red card smaller than a square cream card and a cream piece just a bit smaller than the red, centrally attach the dark red piece to the cream card, onto the piece of cream card.
  • Stamp the celebration corner (Project Club May 2014 or Balloon Celebrations) in the top left and bottom corners using Memento Desert Sand randomly stamp the small ribbons on the card.
  • Stamp 12 to 3 and 6 to 9 parts of the clock face and two sets of hands onto pale gold pearl card using Rich Cocoa, trim the 6 to 9 part to fit the top right corner and the 12 to 3 part to fit the bottom left corner.
  • Stamp "From" onto the 6 to 9 and "To" on the 12 to 3 clock faces using Rich Cocoa colour in and attach the hands to the start and finish times then to the corners of the card.
  • Cut a 1.3cm x 18cm strip of pale gold pearl card and stamp New Year’s Eve Party along it in Rich Cocoa cut end to a point mount onto dark red card with a narrow border, attach from the top left to the bottom right corner, add a red gem to the points and clock hands.

Project Club: Clock Tower

Another New Year card, this one could easily adapted for a party invite...




How to Make: 

  • Stamp the swirl Happy New Year in Versamark and emboss with star dust embossing powder, down the right hand side of a dark blue A5 card (making sure to cover up to 9cm in from the edge).
  • Cut 21cm x 7.5cm piece of gray textured card cut one of the long sides to look like the end of a stone tower, with a gray promarker mark the card to look like stone edge the cut side, attach to the left of the card with the straight side to the fold.
  • Stamp part of the clock face (between the 11/12 and 6/7) and the hands onto a very pale blue pearl card using Memento Paris Dusk, colour in blue cut out and trim the clock face to 6.5cm across the middle glue on the hands, attach 3cm from the top of the clock tower.
  • Stamp the “Happy New Year” sentiment in Tuxedo black onto a piece of gray card trim and mount onto light blue card attach to the bottom of the clock tower.
  • Stamp the two small ribbons onto bright coloured card using Tuxedo Black cut out and glue to the dark blue part of the card.

Project Club: Princess Party

Whilst I was rummaging through my old Project Club sets I came across this fabulous Prince and Princess set and just had to play.....



How to Make:

  • Randomly stamp (Once Upon a Time, Princess, and Prince words) dragon, unicorn, frog and castle (Project Club April 2009) onto the front of a lilac A5 card using Memento Sweet Plum.
  • Attach a piece of white chiffon ribbon down the left hand side of the card with a knot or a bow in the bottom left corner.
  • Stamp the clock face, hands onto white pearl card using Tuxedo black mask of the numerals and stamp the castle and unicorn in the centre using Sweet Plum, colour in the numerals, inside ring on the clock and hands in shades of purple and lilacs, cut out and glue the hands to the time the party starts and attach the clock face centrally to the card.
  • Stamp the Princess carriage in Sweet Plum onto white pearl card mask off all but the window and stamp in the frog.
  • Using a small alphabet set of stamps and Sweet Plum stamp Till (and the time the party finishes) between the wheels, colour in and roughly cut it out edge in purple attach to the bottom right corner with 3D foam pads.
  • Onto a 10cm x 3.5cm piece of white pearl card in Sweet Plum stamp “On the date Its a Princess and Prince Party Your Invited”, round off the corners and edge in purple attach to the top left of the card, add a crystal gems to the wheels, centre of the hands and date card.

Project Club: New Year

For this card I used a couple of stamps from previous Project Club Sets. I just love how well they all work together!



How to Make:  

  • Trim a piece of purple card just a little smaller than a square white card.
  • Across the bottom stamp the celebration corner (May 2014 Project Club or Balloon Celebrations) twice using Versamark and Silver embossing powder, colour in the stars with a silver glitter gel pen.
  • Stamp the New Year sentiment, clock face, hands and the bunting (March 2013 Project Club) twice with an extra bow onto white pearl card in Tuxedo black.
  • Colour in the clock face and hands using shades of purple and plum glitter gel pens, cut out and attach clock face towards the top of the purple piece of card glue the hands in place.
  • Cut a 1.5cm strip of lilac pearl card stamp Happy New Year across it using Tuxedo black and attach across the purple card below the 3 and 9 on the clock face trim to size of the purple card, centrally attach to the square white card.
  • Roughly cut out New Year sentiment and mount onto lilac pearl card cut out leaving a narrow border attach to the centre of the lilac strip.
  • Colour in the bunting and extra bow using glitter gel pens cut out and attach to the top of the card with the extra bow over the join.

Project Club: Birth Announcement

Well, here it is the final Nina Crafts Project Club of 2014 and what a great year we have had, with so many versatile stamp sets "Well Done!" to the team at Nina Crafts.

And talking about versatile this months New Year stamp set is great for Birth Announcements.....


 How to Make

  • Trim a piece of pale blue backing paper just a little smaller than a square white card.
  • In the top left corner stamp the date and in the bottom right stamp the weight, using Memento Paris Dusk.
  • Stamp two of the small ribbons in the top right corner and one under the date in Memento Summer Sky,  colour in the ribbons and centrally attach to the square white card.
  • Stamp the clock face and hands onto white card in Memento Paris Dusk, colour in the numerals, the inside ring on the clock face and hands in shades of blue.
  • Cut out the clock face and hands attach the clock face towards the top of the card, glue the hands to the time of birth, stamp the names in the centre of the clock face with am or pm over the six or twelve
  • Add a die cut rabbit with gems for nose and eyes in the bottom left corner and a gem to the centre of the hands.

Project Club: With Love

This one is another non Christmas card made using this months Nina Crafts Project Club Stamp set. I think I got a little carried away!



How to make: 

  • Cut a piece of black card 1cm smaller than a small square white card, clear emboss one or two small roses in three corners and attach to the white card with the unstamped corner in the bottom left.
  • Cut out a large red heart and attach to the card on an angle with point in the bottom left corner.
  • Stamp the envelope and card twice onto white card in Tuxedo Black masking off the star and Merry Christmas from one of them, in the space stamp “With Love” and the roses colour in the roses and border on one of the cards, cut out the card with some of the envelope below the v, cut out the second envelope cutting away the corners of the card, using a craft knife cut the v just enough to slide the card in, glue the card in place attach over the heart from the bottom left corner.
  • From silver card die cut two small Elegant Flourishes (Sizzix 656639 Tim Holtz) and punch out four small leaves, attach the flourishes from the bottom left corner over the edges of the heart and card.
  • Stamp the roses twice onto red card in Tuxedo Black  cut out one set of roses and attach in the bottom left corner with two of the leaves, cut out one rose and attach to card near the v the two leaves, glossy accent  the roses on the leaves and add red glitter glue to the corners of the white card.

Project Club: Cream and Brown Holly

Another Christmas card  using this months Project Club Stamp set, this time in my traditional colours of cream and brown....


 How to make

  • Cut a piece of brown card to mount on a small square cream card and cut a piece of cream card a little smaller, stamp the envelope centrally on the smallest cream card in Rich Cocoa mask off and stamp the holly three times from the left hand corner.
  • Colour in the leaves and berries in shades of light browns, edge and draw a line around the sides of the card in brown.
  • Attach two pieces of 1cm brown ribbon across the bottom left hand corner.
  • Centrally attach the brown piece of card to the square cream card then the stamped cream card on to this.
  • Stamp the envelope and card in Rich Cocoa onto cream card mask off all but the “Merry Christmas” on the card over stamp with the swirls and berries, colour the envelope the same as the holly leaves and the edge, berries and star in the berry colour, attach over the stamp one on the card using 3D foam pads.
  • Thread and tie dark glitter cord through three brown buttons and 3D glue them to the bottom left corner.

Project Club: Button Holly

Another Christmas card! This one is so quick to make........


 How to make
  • Randomly stamp the envelope and card in Rich Cocoa onto 19cm x 19cm piece of white card, mask them off and over stamp with a music stamp (KAISERCRAFT C5757sheet music) in Desert Sand, distress around the edges in Peeled Paint
  • Stamp the holly twice down a 19cm x 7cm piece of white card in rich cocoa colour in the leaves and berries, distress the two long sides and mount onto a 19cm x 7.5cm piece of red card, attach 1.5cm in from the left hand side of the piece of card.
  • Attach a 4cm wide piece of open weave jute craft ribbon across the card 2cm up from the bottom, centrally attach to a 20cm x 20cm square red card.
  • Add crystal stickles to the open weave part of the ribbon (so it will not fray and it looks good.
  • Stamp “Merry Christmas” in Rich Cocoa to the right of a 4cm x 11.5cm piece of white card colour in the M and C, shape the M end into a tag and distress the edges in Peeled Paint, mount onto a 12cm x 5cm piece of red card and trim the M end and punch a hole in the shaped end, tie red, green and gold ribbon through the tag and attach to the bottom left corner with 3D foam pads.
  • Thread and tie thin gold cord through small red buttons and attach with 3D glue over the groups of holly berries, thread and tie thicker gold cord through three large red buttons and 3D glue to the bottom left hand corner.

Project Club: Holly

So, it's back to Christmas for this one....



How to make 

  • Cut a piece of white card smaller than a dark green DL card and stamp the vertical “Merry Christmas” in rows nine times down the card in red green and sand, starting in a different place with each colour. Between the sand ones stamp the small star, distress around the edges in Festive Berries and Peeled Paint.
  • Attach a piece of gold edge dark green ribbon 4cm up from the bottom of the piece of card and attach to the DL card.
  • Stamp the holly onto white card in green ink colour in and die cut using Spellbinders (S4-190 Labels Four) cut the largest in red and the size smaller from stamped holly distress the edge of the holly in Peeled Paint, centrally attach to the red card then attach to the centre of the card above the ribbon,.
  • Stamp the holly onto white card colour in three leaves, cut them out, shape and attach with 3D glue to the ribbon add red glitter glue for the berries.

Project Club: Floral Wishes

Here is a really girly card made from this months Christmas set, I just love how the card and envelope can be adapted for any occasion with a little bit of masking.......



How to make 

  • Trim a piece of lilac card for a mount on a small square white card.
  • Cut a piece of white card a little smaller, onto the white piece of white card using the corner stamp from Junes Project Club 2014 and lilac ink, stamp part of it twice along each side with the swirl to the corners.
  • Stamp the envelope and card onto lilac card, make a mask to cover Merry Christmas and the star place onto white card and stamp the envelope and card over it, mask off the edges of the card and stamp part of the corner stamp in the space colour in the edges and flowers on the little card.
  • Cut out the lilac envelope cutting away the corners of the card using a craft knife cut the v between the card and envelope.
  • Cut out the white card so it’s 0.5cm shorter than the envelope slide into the lilac envelope and glue into place, centrally attach the pieces of lilac and white to the square white card using 3D foam pads attach the envelope and card on an angle in the centre.
  • Add lilac glitter glue to the corners of the white cards,

Project Club: Family Christmas

Whoops Jackie beat me to it again! 

Here are this months Nina Crafts Project Club Cards, this months is a fabulous Christmas set that is just so versatile.....

How to make
  • Using Paris Dusk randomly stamp the holly onto an A5 piece of white card.
  • Using London Fog fill in the spaces with the stars.
  • Colour in the leaves and berries in grey and blue.
  • Trim down so it’s smaller than a dark blue A5 card and distress around the edges using Faded Jeans.
  • Cut a strip of white card the same width as the stamped piece of card by 3cm, deep and stamp the Family sentiment in the middle with part of the holly to the left in Paris Dusk and the two small stars to right in London Fog edge in blue, colour in the holly leaves and berries as before 
  • Mount onto a 4cm strip of dark blue card and attach 2cm up from the bottom of the card then attach to the blue A5 card,
  • From dark blue card die cut some pine branches ( Sizzix 657492 Tim Holtz Tattered Pine cone) attach in the top left hand corner.
  • The laser cut star bauble was coloured with Paris Dusk and tied to the pine branches with silver glitter cord, add silver glitter glue two the two silver stars and dark blue to the holly berries on the sentiment strip and dark blue glitter glue to the bauble.

Project Club: Happy Birthday Mum

Here is the final card for this months Nina Crafts Project club another one for the ladies......



How to make: 

  • Onto an A5 piece of white card randomly stamp the flower trellis from June’s Project Club in Memento Lulu Lavender, trim down to fit an A5 purple card leaving a 0.5cm border around the card, distress in Milled Lavender, attach a piece of silver 1cm satin ribbon 1.5cm down from the top and 1.5cm in down the right hand side of the card, centrally attach to the A5 purple card.
  • Cut a 14.5cm x 9.5cm piece of purple card and a 9cm x 14cm piece of white card distress the edges of the white card in Milled Lavender, centrally attach to the purple card then on to the stamped card 0.5cm in the bottom left hand corner.
  • Stamp the “Happy Birthday” (June’s Project Club) onto a 3.8cm x 7.5cm piece of white card, five of the large flowers onto white in Lulu Lavender and the cup in Tuxedo Black, colour in and cut out the flowers and cup (not the stand), round off the top right and bottom left hand corners of the “Happy Birthday” mount onto a 4.2cm x 7.9cm piece of purple card round off the corners, attach with 3D foam pads to the bottom of the white card leaving space for the cup.
  • Shape the cup and attach with 3D foam pads.
  • Die cut some silver leaves attach four of the flowers and some leaves in the top right hand corner, and one flower with two leaves to the bottom right of “Happy Birthday”, add crystal stickles to the centre of the flowers and the cup handles.

Project Club: No1 Dad

Another card for those football mad fellas......


How to make: 

  • Randomly stamp the whistle and “It’s a Goal!” in Memento London Fog on the front of an A5 white card and distress with Old Paper and Peeled Paint.
  • Back a 7cm die cut football onto black card and cut out and attach to the top left of the card.
  • Stamp the large shirt, scarf and cup onto white card in Tuxedo Black colour in and cut out.
  • Stamp the whistle onto silver pearl card in Black Perfect Medium and emboss in black (you may like to do the cup this way) cut out the whistle.
  • Stamp No1 Dad on the cup and No1 on the shirt (Nina Crafts Football Fanatic) in Tuxedo Black, shape the cup and attach with 3D foam pads down the top right hand side of the card.
  • Attach the football and scarf to the left of the cup, cut a 3.5cm x 5.5cm piece of red and yellow card attach in the bottom right hand corner with the whistle on the top, and the shirt to left of this.

Project Club: Grandad No1

I had so much fun making this card it took me back to those days spent playing with the glue sticks at school!


How to make:  
  • For this card I used a 14.5cmx 14.5cm square white card.
  • The background was made from football cuttings from the newspaper and backed onto blue card.
  • Stamp the large football shirt and scarf onto white card in Memento London Fog colour in and cut out.
  • Stamp Grandad No1 in Tuxedo Black (Nina Crafts Football Fanatic) on the shirt.
  • Running across a 1.5cm strip of blue card stamp “Have a Ball on your Birthday” in Tuxedo Black add three black dots between them, mount onto a 2cm strip of white card attach 7mm up from the bottom of the blue card.
  • Centrally attach the blue piece of card to the front of the white card.
  • Back the 7cm die cut football onto blue card and cut out attach to right of the card.
  • Using 3D foam pads attach the shirt and scarf to the left of the ball.

Project Club: Whistle Card

I really love how this card turned out I think its the colours, you all know how much I love my creams and beige's!


How to make:  

  • Using Memento Desert Sand randomly stamp the whistle, “It’s a Goal”(I also used a postcard, postal stamp and ticket these are old and not sure who’s), you could use the cup and shirt, trim down to fit an A5 brown card leaving a 0.5cm around the card, distress the edges with Tea Dye and edge in Rich Cocoa, attach a piece of brown and dark cream ribbon down the left side, centrally attach to the A5 brown card.
  • Cut a 19.5cm x 5cm piece of cream card and stamp the whistle down it five times turning the whistle each time in Rich Cocoa, mask off the whistles and over stamp the handle and part of the cup five times down the card, changing sides each time in Desert Sand, distress and edge as before and colour in the whistles.
  • Cut a 20cm x 5.5cm piece of craft card centrally attach the whistles strip to this and attach 1cm in down the right side of the cream card.
  • Stamp the ticket onto cream card in Rich Cocoa cut out and distress in Old Paper, attach to bottom of the whistles with 3D foam pads.
  • Stamp two whistles onto pale gold pearl card in Black Perfect Medium and emboss in gold, cut out and using 3D foam pads attach one across the top of the ribbons the other to the middle whistle, tie a piece ribbon to each ribbon.

Project Club: Ladies Birthday Card

This months Project Club stamp set from Nina Crafts is great for all those football fanatics we all know and love! This first one is especially for those football mad females!


How to make: 

  • Stamp two large football shirts and “Have a Ball on your Birthday” onto white card in Memento Tuxedo Black, colour one shirt pink and the other lilac cut them out, apply Mod Podge Sparkle over the shirts and leave to dry.
  • I backed a 7cm die cut football onto white card cut it out and applied Mod Podge Sparkle over it.
  • Onto a 3cm x15cm piece of white card stamp the small football shirt across the card on an angle turning the stamp each time in Memento Tuxedo Black, colour the shirts using pink and lilac edge one long side in pink and the other in lilac.
  • Cut a piece of pink card smaller than an A5 white card and a piece of lilac card 1cm smaller centrally this to the pink card, attach the stamped strip 1cm up from the bottom of the card and trim to the size of the pink card, centrally attach to the white A5 card.
  • Trim the “Have a Ball on your Birthday” and mount first onto lilac then onto pink card with narrow borders attach with 3D foam pads over the strip of shirts.
  • Attach the football in the top left corner, gather a piece of 4cm burgundy chiffon ribbon and attach to the back of the pink shirt to make a skirt, cut 4.5cm pieces of 12mm purple chiffon and attach to the back of the lilac shirt, attach to the card with 3D foam pads.

Project Club: Pink Trellis and Corners

This card didn't make it into the Project Club newsletters as there just wasn't enough room! So here it is......



 How to make: 

  • Cut a piece of burgundy card small than the front of an A5 white card and attach to the card.
  • Onto a piece of A5 white card randomly stamp the trellis and large flower using Aged Mahogany distress ink, trim so it’s smaller then the burgundy card distress in Aged Mahogany.
  • Attach a piece of 4cm wide white lace down the left hand side, attach the stamped card.
  • Stamp the trellis, two floral corners and two large flowers onto white card in memento Tuxedo Black, colour in all the flowers and leaves in shades of pink, cut out the flowers and shape them, cut out the trellis and corners using straight cuts, distress in Aged Mahogany leaving the centres white, edge in Aged Mahogany.
  • With 3D foam pads attach the trellis down the top right hand corner, and the two corners over lapping up from the bottom left hand corner, attach the two flowers to the top left hand corner with 3D glue, add glossy accents to the centre of all the flowers that can be seen.

Project Club: Cream and Brown Easel Card

For this card I tried to stick to my favourite colours of browns and beige's.



How to make: 

  • Make a small square cream easel card with a extra front.
  • Onto the inside base of the easel card and one of the fronts, stamp the floral corner onto each corner using Memento Desert Sand, colour in the large flower and the centres of the small flowers in each corner on the square piece of card in a light tan promarkers, distress the two stamped pieces in Antique Linen.
  • On the other square piece of cream card, blue tac a 3mm square of paper to the centre, stamp the floral corner just above each side of the square in memento Rich Cocoa, colour in the flowers and leaves in shades of cream and brown promarkers.
  • Trim off the corner and sides just above the swirl, distress in Tea Dye and edge in Rich Cocoa.
  • Onto a 4cm x 7.5cm piece of cream card stamp Happy Birthday in Rich Cocoa, colour in the flowers, distress in Antique Linen and edge in Rich Cocoa.
  • Onto a 5cm x 8.5cm piece of cream card stamp the floral corner twice in Rich Cocoa, distress in Tea Dye, centrally attach the Happy Birthday to this and attach to the inside base of the card.
  • Stamp three large flowers onto cream card in Rich Cocoa, cut out and shape the three flowers, punch or die cut four brown fern leaves.
  • Centrally attach the trimmed piece of card to the square piece of card so the gaps between the floral corners line up with the corners, attach this with strong double sided tape or glue to the bottom half of the easel flap.
  • Add the fern to the centre square down the gaps in the with the three flowers in the centre, add ice gold stickles to the flower centres.

Project Club: Pink Happy Birthday

 This card is so simple to make it could be whipped up at the last minute! Imagine it in blues or purples......




How to make:  

  • Cut a 6.5inch square of pink card and attach a toning piece of pink backing paper on an angle 5cm across the top right down to 11cm across the bottom right side of the card, attach white ribbon over the join and centrally attach to a white seven inch square card.
  • Stamp the trellis onto a 7.7cm x 13.7cm piece of white card using Adirondack Cranberry ink, colour with shades of pink promarkers and mount onto burgundy card leaving a narrow border.
  • Stamp the trellis, Happy Birthday and an extra set of the long four flowers from the trellis onto white card in Cranberry, colour in the large flowers and the small flowers that are touching them. 
  • Cut out the Happy Birthday mount like the trellis onto burgundy card.
  • Attach the mounted trellis down the left of the card with the Happy Birthday towards the bottom on the right.
  • Cut out the four sets of large flowers in groups where they touch, (it makes it a lot quicker when gluing in place) using 3D glue attach the three sets with small flowers to the trellis and the other long set down the top right hand corner, add glossy accents to the centres of the cut flowers and Happy Birthday.

Project Club: Birthday Wishes

Another of this months Project Club cards made using the window box stamp!!!!!



How to make: 

  • Ink over a 4cm wide piece of white cotton lace long enough to go round a DL card using Stormy Sky and Faded Jeans distress ink, (leave to dry).
  • Onto the front of a white linen finish DL card 2nd generation stamp the large flower in Memento Paris Dusk, distress lightly in stormy sky.
  • Stamp the window box with Birthday Wishes in the panels, and three large flowers onto white linen card in Paris Dusk, colour in shades of blue and gray, cut out the three flowers and shape them, cut the window box out with a narrow white border, mount onto silver cut out as before.
  • Using 3D foam pads mount onto a 10cm x 6.5cm piece of blue card.
  • Attach the lace across the card, (landscape) attach Birthday Wishes to the left of the card with 3D foam pads.
  • Punch or die cut three small silver leaves and attach with the flowers to the bottom right hand corner using 3D glue, add crystal ice stickles to the centres of the flowers.

Project Club: Lilac square card

I really like how this card turned out, imagine all the different colour ways it could be done in.....


How to make
  • Cut a lilac piece of card 1cm smaller the front of white square card, in the centre stamp two of the window boxes one under the other, stamp a word into each of the panels, (I used Cherish, Hope, Believe and Dream) along each side stamp part of large trellis stamp using Memento Grape Jelly.
  • Using shades of lilac colour the flowers in the window boxes only.
  • Distress around the sides in Dusty Concord.
  • Attach a piece of white chiffon ribbon across the top left and bottom right hand corners.
  • Centrally attach to the white card and add a bow to each ribbon.
  • Stamp four large flowers onto toning lilac card, cut out and shape using 3D glue add one to each corner.
  • Add lilac glitter glue to the centres of the four flowers and the window box flowers.

Project Club: Black and White Birthday card

This months Nina Crafts Project Club sets should be hitting those door mats and I hope you agree what a "blooming" marvellous set they are too!

Here's the first card for this month.



How to make
  • Stamp the floral corner in the top right and bottom left hand corners of a white linen finished DL card, (landscape) using memento Tuxedo Black.
  • Stamp the Happy Birthday and two of the large flowers onto extra white linen card, colour in all the flowers and leaves in shades of gray.
  • Cut out the two large flowers, shape them and attach with 3D glue to the floral corners.
  • Trim the Happy Birthday to 4cm x 7cm and mount onto a 5cm x 8cm piece of black card.
  • Attach a piece of silver edge ribbon on an angle across the card add a black card candie to each end.
  • Using 3D foam pads centrally attach the Happy Birthday, (it will fit landscape or portrait) add glitter glue to the centres of the large flowers.

Project Club: Baby Card

This is this months final card for the Nina Crafts Project Club, I have used the sentiment again, but this time on a baby card - I can see that sentiment getting used a lot!!!!!!!

How to make: 
  • Cover the front of an A5 white card with three pieces of baby pink patterned paper, attach white ribbon or lace (two of mine are Sizzix Vintage Lace 657481) over the joins.
  • Onto a 4.5cm x 9.5cm piece of white pearl card, stamp “our Journey begins here...” to the right hand side o.6cm up from the bottom in Memento Lilac Posies, clean and dry the stamp and stamp the “Y” only in front of the saying. Stamp a narrow boarder along the top right and bottom left, attach to the bottom left hand corner of the card.
  • From pink pearl card die cut a Onesie (Sizzix Bigz Die Baby Onesie 655379), stamp Princess and a crown on the front in Memento Lilac Posies, fold in half add some lace around the neck and sleeves, glue pearl gems around the bottom flap. 
  • Thread narrow pink ribbon through two white buttons and white ribbon through three pink buttons.
  • Attach the Onesie to the top of the card on an angle with foam pads, using 3D glue add a pink and white button to the Onesie and other three down the right side of the card.  

Project Club: Retirement Card

This time a retirement card made using the fabulous sentiment from this months Nina Crafts Project Club.



How to make:
  • Stamp the large sentiment and three tomato plants (Crafty Roo Designs: Gardeners Delight) onto cream card in Memento Rich Cocoa, colour them in and roughly cut them out, edge the plants in green and the sentiment in brown, shape the plants.
  • Stamp the three plant pots (Crafty Roo Designs: Lots of pots) onto dark orange card in Memento Potters Clay, shade in down the right side cut out and shape. 
  • Cut a piece of cream card 1cm smaller then the front of an A5 card and randomly stamp “Retire the garden is calling!” in Memento Toffee Crunch distress in Tea Dye.
  • Tie three pieces of green twine down the left side of the mount onto a piece of craft card 0.5cm bigger and centrally attach to an A5 green card.
  • Attach the sentiment to the top of the card with the tomato plants in pots below with 3D glue or foam pads.

Project club: Star Graduation

Another card for this months Nina Crafts Project Club, Imagine all the different colour ways for this one, I quite fancy trying a zingy orange and lime but that could just be because of todays' fabulous weather!



How to make:
  • Trim a piece of pale blue card to fit a small square medium blue card leaving a narrow border.
  • On the bottom 6cm stamp the small scroll, Good Luck and for the future in medium blue ink, colour in the mortarboards and ribbon on the scrolls in darker blue.
  • Cut out a 6cm white star and stamp Well Done over it in Memento Paris Dusk edge in a toning blue and mount onto silver and cut out.
  • Onto 2.5cm strip of white card, stamp the word stamp across it in Memento Paris Dusk, cut it to fit across the pale blue card and mount onto a 3cm strip of medium card the same length, attach over the change in backgrounds on the pale blue card and centrally attach to the medium blue card.
  • Attach the star to the top left corner.
  • Stamp Congratulations onto a 2cm x 8.5cm piece of white card in red ink, cut the end near the C to a point and edge in red attach over the star with foam pads.


Project Club: Wedding Day

This time a wedding card using this months Nina Crafts Project Club.



How to make:
  • Onto a 7.5cm x 3cm piece of white pearl card stamp “On Your Wedding Day” (Occasions NC 022) and the two small hearts (Decembers 2013 Project Club), in lilac pigment ink and emboss with cosmic shimmer tropical pearl, then cut into a tag shape, punch a hole at the top and edge in lilac, tie a silver edged lilac ribbon through the hole.
  • Onto white pearl card stamp the large sentiment , the rose twice and the rose flower head once more in lilac pigment ink and emboss, roughly cut out the sentiment and edge in lilac, colour in the leaves, stem and the tips of roses in lilac, cut out one full rose with the first petal only, the leaves and flower head with more petals and a bit of stem from the other and the full flower head with a bit of stem, shape all pieces and assemble starting with full rose head using 3D glue leave to dry.
  • Place the sentiment on an angle going across an A5 white pearl card ( do not attach yet), now stamp “Congratulations” above the sentiment going up to the right hand corner with a large swirl heart in each bottom corner, in lilac pigment ink and emboss, attach the sentiment under Congratulations with foam pads or 3D glue, thread the rose stem through the back of the bow on the tag and attach to the card with 3D glue, add three lilac card candies down the top left hand side and three under the sentiment down the right hand side.

Project Club: Well Done

Here's another of this months cards for the Nina Crafts Project Club.



How to make:
  • The cream background was stamped with rows of Well Done and Congratulations in Memento Toffee Crunch and edge in a toning Promarker.
  • Tie a piece of dark cream ribbon down the left hand side and attach to a small square brown card.
  • Onto a 7.5cm x 10cm piece of darker cream card stamp the mortarboard in the middle with the small scrolls around it in memento Rich Cocoa, colour in the ribbons, mortarboard and edge with the Promarker, attach to the top right hand corner.
  • On a piece of darker cream card stamp the top of the mortarboard with tassel, two feathers and a pen (old Dimension Stamps) in Memento Rich Cocoa, and the ink pot on brown card in black ink, colour in where needed, cut out and shape attach to the card with 3D glue or foam pads.

Project Club: Gap Year

Wow where have the past two months gone!  I hadn't realised I hadn't been on here sooo long so much so I had "misplaced" my password, I'll blame it on the fabulous weather we have been having!!!!!

Anyway, lets get back to business with April's Project Club, this months set is a great one to have as it is can be used on baby cards to retirement cards and everything in between, I just love how versatile the set is and I hope you do to.

How to make:
  • Onto a 15cm x 15cm square piece of cream card using Memento Rich Cocoa, randomly stamp the globes (Artemio stamps used ref no:10001236, 10001146), "Good Luck", "for the future" and  "Gap Year" (ABC 123 NC021), trim down to fit a small square burgundy card with 0.5cm border.
  • Onto a 5cm x 15cm piece of cream card stamp “our Journey begins here...” to the right hand side and 1cm up from the bottom in Memento Rich Cocoa, clean and dry the stamp and stamp the “Y” only in front of the saying.
  • Stamp the plane, suitcase and part of the compass picture around the saying.
  • Mount onto a 6cm x 16cm piece of burgundy card and attach on an angle across the cream card, trim down and attach to the burgundy card, add a burgundy card Candi to each corner.

Project Club: Have a ball....

Here is the last card I made this month using the Dimension Stamps Project Club set. If you are interested in joining the project club please visit the Dimension Stamps website for more information.


How to make
  • Cut a 20 cm x 13.8 cm piece of cream card and mask of 1.5cm from one of the 20cm sides which will be the bottom of the card, stamp four tennis rackets across the card standing just above the mask in Memento Rich Cocoa.
  • In the mesh on the first racket to the left hand side spell out “HAVE” in a tan marker.
  • In the centre of the second “A”.
  • Colour in the third with the tan marker, “ON” in the last one.
  • Stamp “YOUR” down the right hand side of the card in Memento Rich Cocoa, distress around the edges of the card in Tea Dye Distress Ink.
  • Next stamp “BIRTHDAY” onto a 1.2cm x 8.2cm piece of cream card in Memento Rich Cocoa.
  • Mount onto brown card and punch a hole in each end, thread a narrow piece of brown ric rac braid through the back of “HAPPY BIRTHDAY” holding this in place at the centre bottom of the card with foam pads, tape the braid to the back of the card, centrally attach to an A5 brown card.
  • Stamp a tennis ball, colour in, cut out and shape using 3D glue attach to the third tennis racket.

Project Club: Tennis Facecloth

A must have for any tennis match is a good facecloth/ towel. And this months Project Club stamps are just perfect for customizing your very own!



How to make 

Cut, wash and iron a 7.5cm x 31cm piece of white fabric, stamp the tennis ball in the centre with a tennis racket on each side in black Versacraft ink, when dry iron for two minutes, colour in with fabric paint following all instructions and advice, when dry sew onto a white face cloth.

Project Club: Tennis is Downright Smashing

As soon as read the sentiments on this months Dimension Stamps project club set, I had to make this card.......


How to make

  • Cut a 13.8cm x 13.8cm piece of yellow card, randomly stamp the score board on the back and front in Memento Desert Sand, on the back mark a spot off centre to the left and around this draw a 10.5cm circle, using a craft knife cut lines radiating out to the edge of the circle.
  • At the top on the front of the card stamp “Tennis is Downright Smashing” in Memento Rich Cocoa
  • Stamp the tennis racket four times onto white card in Memento Tuxedo Black, from two of the rackets cut out the mesh and the v shape on the handle, glue fabric mesh over the cut out mesh on the two tennis rackets, let the glue go over the outside edge press down and leave to dry, colour in the other two rackets cut out the frames only and glue over the top of the ones with the mesh on press together and leave to dry.
  • Glue a piece of narrow white ribbon to the top of a piece of fabric mesh 12cm x 5.5cm, push the cut pieces of yellow card from the back to the front of the card to make an opening.
  • Cut a 13cm x 13cm square piece of grass green card and attach the bottom of the mesh to one side and attach the ribbon, cut out the two tennis rackets and try not to hold the mesh, glue one of the tennis rackets just above the net and trim the handle to fit the green card.
  • Stamp the tennis ball twice in Memento Tuxedo Black, colour in, cut out and glue together with a piece of thread in the middle attach to the top of green card so it hangs just over the net, attach the green card to the back of the yellow card and centrally attach to a 14.8cm x 14.8cm medium green card, glue the other tennis racket to the bottom left corner.

Project Club: Engagement Card

When I saw the tennis rackets in this months Dimension Stamps Project Club set I just had to try to add some letters.

This card would work well with initials too if names are too long.....


 How to Make

  • Cut a 20cm x 13.8cm piece of light blue card, cut out a heart shape 1.5cm down from the top large enough for two rackets to fit inside.
  • Stamp two tennis rackets onto white card in Memento Tuxedo Black, colour in and put the name or just the initials on the tennis racket nets using the same colour.
  • Stamp the score card onto light blue card in Memento Tuxedo Black, onto the score board stamp “Congratulations On Your Engagement” (Occasions NC022, Popular Phrases NC023) in Memento  Danube Blue.
  • Cut out and mount onto a 13.8cm x 6cm piece of brown pearl card.
  • Attach a piece of toning backing paper to the back of the cut out heart on the light blue card.
  • Attach a narrow piece of brown ribbon across the top of the blue card and the score card to the bottom, now centrally attach to an A5 white card.
  • Cut out and glue the two tennis rackets into the heart.
  • Die cut two corner flourishes (Sizzix 658527 Estate) from brown pearl card and attach to each side above the score board.

Project Club: Play like a Champion today

I love how this card turned out, it is so simple and quick to make but I think it looks great!

 

 How to make

  • Onto a 14.8cm x 14.8cm square Kraft card stamp “Play like a Champion Today” 8mm up from the bottom of the card in Memento Tuxedo Black.
  • Onto a 13.8 x 10.5cm piece of white card randomly stamp parts the tennis racket three times, and fill in the spaces with the tennis ball using Memento Tuxedo Black, colour in the rackets and balls.
  • Mount first onto a 13.8cm x 11.3cm piece of medium green card then onto a 13.8cm x 12.1cm piece of light green card.
  • Attach to the square Kraft card and add Glossy Accents to the handles of the tennis rackets.
