Seasons and Months Around The Corner

Dimension Stamps recently released a new set called Seasons and Months Around The Corner (ref: 2400072a).  It's a must have for making calendars for christmas presents, but they are also fabulous for cards too!
Mothers Day

  • Cut a 4.5cm strip off the front right hand side of a 7inch x x5inch cream card, distress around the front edges of the card and the inside edges that can be seen in antique linen.
  • On the 4.5cm strip of cream card randomly stamp the daffodil corner in memento rich cocoa (it’s for die cutting) colour in with promarkers and distress with wild honey.
  • Cut out two 7.5cm x 5.5cm pieces of cream card stamp the daffodil corner twice on each piece.
  • On one piece stamp "March" and the "10th" on the other piece.
  • Colour both in using promarkers , distress and edge the two cards with antique linen.
  • Attach a piece of light gold chiffon ribbon to the left hand side of the card.
  • Attach the card with "March" on to the top of the cut edge of the card on an angle, so one corner is just on the ribbon and the other side is over the cut edge of the card.
  • Attach the other card under this.
  • Tie three pieces of ribbon onto the side ribbon.
  • Die cut "Mothers Day" from the stamped piece of card and attach down the inside edge of the card that can be seen.
