Mr Robin

For this card I used a Dimension Stamps stamp called Christmas Robin (Ref: 0304013A), isn't it beautiful.

How to make:
  • Randomly stamp the poinsettia and swirls (not the robin or greetings) in memento rich cocoa, onto a 16cm x 29.6cm piece of off white card.
  • Score lines at 8cm, 16cm and 21cm, mountain fold the 8cm and 21cm score lines and valley fold the 16cm score line to make a stepper card.
  • Attach a piece of green ribbon half between the 21cm score line and the edge of the card with a bow to the left hand side.
  • Cut two 14cm x 11cm ovals one in kraft card and one in off white card
  • The cut two more ovals 10.5cm x 7.5cm  in kraft card and one in off white card
  • Attach the bottom half of the larger Kraft card oval below the 8cm score line, attach the bottom half of the small Kraft card oval below the 21cm score line 0.5cm in from the right hand side of the card.
  • Stamp the Christmas Robin in rich cocoa onto the large off white oval colour in.
  • Cut out around the stamped shape edge in brown and centrally attach to the large Kraft card oval.
  • Mask off and stamp some swirls in rich cocoa onto the small off white oval.
  • Stamp two poinsettias onto off white card colour in and cut out and shape one, attach to the centre of the small off white oval.
  • Cut out around the stamped area edge in brown and attach to the small kraft card oval.
  • Cut out and shape some of the petals from the other poinsettia and attach with 3D glue over the other.

  1. Sue this is a stunning card but can you tell me if its a typing error or just me getting mixed up please...
You started by saying to stamp randomly on a piece of 16x20cm card - next step says to score at 8cm, 16cm & 21cms - where is the 21cms from??
The only reason I am asking is I would love to have a go at something like this to do as a class project!
Keep up the fab creations - I think your blog is fab and full of inspiration to us crafters.
