CRD: Monthly Make - Gift Bag

Here is the last item made made for February's Monthly Make from Crafty Roo Designs. You can't have a wedding set without doing a gift bag, right???

Well, here is mine I have teamed it up with the some of the Vintage Minis Stamp Set

Materials

  • February stamp set
  • Stamp bases.
  • Memento:- Tuxedo Black.
  • Distress:- Aged Mahogany.
  • Sizzix 657106 Circle Scallop Lace Die.
  • Black and Burgundy Chiffon Ribbon.
  • White paper bag with handles, black pearl and white card.
  • Double sided tape or glue. Craft tools.
How to make

1) Cut a piece of black pearl card a little smaller than the front of the bag, and a piece of white card smaller than the black card, adhere the black pearl card to the front of the bag using double sided tape or glue.
2) Second generation stamp the top hat in opposite corners and the crown in the other two, and the butterfly in the middle of each side using Tuxedo Black ( head to the outside edge of the card), distress around the edges using aged mahogany, centrally adhere to the black pearl card using double sided tape or glue.
3) Die cut the circle from white card, and stamp MR & MR in the centre using Tuxedo Black, second generation stamp part of the butterfly at the top and bottom and down each side, distress in aged mahogany so it's darker around the edges, colour the & in black, glue black card to the back so the holes look black, centrally adhere to the bag using double sided tape or glue.
4) Tie two pieces of black and burgundy ribbon around one side of a handle, tie a bow to this and curl the ends.

CRD: Monthly Make - Simply Mr & Mrs!

Here is another card made using  February's Monthly Make from Crafty Roo Designs. Again this one could be adapted to suit any wedding colour or theme just by changing the backing paper.

I hope you like it.....





Materials

  • February's card pack. 
  • Stamp bases.
  • Silver ink pad.
  • Memento:- Grey Flannel
  • Stardust Transparent Embossing Powder.
  • Heat Tool.
  • Couture Creations Embossing Folder I Dream.
  • Narrow silver edge white ribbon.
  • 2 Crystal Gems.
  • 7 inch Square white base card, lilac and white card.
  • Light grey and lilac marker pens.
  • Double sided tape or glue.
  • Craft tools.

How to Make

1) cut a 6 1/2 inch x 6 1/2 inch square of lilac card, and a 5 1/2 inch x 5 1/4 inch piece of card on the back of this lightly mark top and bottom across the short ends.
2) Emboss the smaller piece of lilac making sure you have it the right way up with the writings the back, cut from the top left corner down to the bottom right hand corner.
3) Adhere the top piece in the top right corner of the lilac piece of card, and the bottom piece in the bottom left corner using double sided tape or glue.
4) Cut a 6 inch x 6 inch square of white card, cut away 2 3/4
 inch in from the top right corner to 5 1/4 inch down the right side, cut away the bottom left in the same way only up the left side, so it slides between the two lilac corners, you may have to trim it down a little bit more.
5) Stamp MR & Mrs in the centre using silver ink and emboss using stardust transparent embossing powder, and heat set with a Heat tool.
6) Second generation stamp the single rose across each end and down the sides, using gray flannel, colour the flowers and leaves in light gray and the & in lilac marker pens.
7) Adhere between the two lilac corner using double sided tape or glue, attach a piece of ribbon over where the two colours meet, centrally adhere to the White card using double sided tape or glue, knot a piece of ribbon in the top left and bottom right corners add a gem in the two white corners.

CRD: Monthly Make - Silver MRS & MRS

Materials

  • February's card pack.
  • Stamp bases.
  • Silver Ink Pad.
  • Stardust Transparent embossing powder, clear embossing powder.
  • Heat Tool.
  • Tim holtz on the edge Distressed Doily Sizzix 657496.
  • A5 white card, sliver pearl card, white card.
  • Double sided tape or glue


How to make
1) Cut a piece of silver pearl card a little smaller than the front of the A5 white card, and a piece of white card smaller than the silver card.
2) Die cut the two short edges of the White piece of card.
3) Centrally stamp Mrs & Mrs between the two die cut ends using silver ink, sprinkle over the stardust embossing powder and heat set with the heat tool.
4) Stamp part of the bouquet down each side of the card using silver ink, and clear emboss as before.
4) Centrally adhere to the silver card then onto the White A5 card using double sided tape or glue.

CRD: Monthly Make - Mr Jalopy

This card was really quick to do but I Love how it turned out! I teamed February's Monthly Make from Crafty Roo Designs up with the Jalopy Stamp.



Materials

  • February's card pack, Jalopy stamp.
  • Stamp bases.
  • Memento:- Rich Cocoa, Desert Sand.
  • Corner Punch (I thought this one looked like tyre tracks).
  • Iced Gold Stickles.
  • A5 Cream Card, cream card, brown pearl card.
  • Double sided tape or glue.
  • Craft Tools

How to Make
1) Cut a piece of brown pearl card a little smaller than the front of the cream A5 base card, and a piece of cream card smaller than the brown card.
2) Punch the four corners of the piece of cream card, centrally stamp the Jalopy across the bottom using Desert Sand, centrally stamp "MR & MR" above the Jalopy using Rich Cocoa.
3) Centrally adhere to the brown pearl piece of card then onto the cream A5 card using double sided tape or glue.
4) Add ice gold stickles to the & and to the centre of the wheels on the Jalopy.

CRD: Monthly Make - Mr & Mrs

This card made using February's Monthly Make from Crafty Roo Designs could be made using any colour theme to match any wedding. 


And on the inside I have used the "Congratulations" Stamp and also the "On Your Wedding Day Stamp".


Materials

  • February's card pack.
  • Stamp bases.
  • Distress Ink:- Tumbled Glass.
  • Tumbled Glass and Shabby Shutters Distress Markers.
  • Fancy corner Punch or Scissors.
  • Sizzix 657106 Circle Scallop Lace Die.
  • White chiffon ribbon.
  • 5 Crystal gems
  • 7inc square white card, turquoise and white card.
  • Double sided tape or glue.
  • Craft tools.
How to make
1) Cut a piece of turquoise card a little smaller than the front of the 7 inch square card, and a piece of white card a little smaller than the turquoise piece of card.
2) Using Tumbled Glass on the turquoise card stamp the bouquet into each corner, colour in the flowers in Tumbled Glass and the leaves in Shabby Shutters.
3) Randomly second generation stamp the bouquet onto the white piece of card using Tumbled Glass.
4) Cut or punch the corners of the white card, and lightly distress the edges using Tumbled Glass, centrally adhere to the turquoise card using double sided tape or glue, attach a piece of ribbon across the the centre of the card, centrally adhere to the 7 inch white card using double sided tape or glue.
5) Die cut the circle from white card, and stamp "MR & Mrs" with a part of the bouquet on each side using Tumbled Glass, colour in the "&", flower heads in Tumbled Glass and the leaves in Shabby Shutters, distress around the edges using Tumbled Glass, cut a piece of turquoise card to cover the holes and glue to the back.
6) Centrally adhere to the right side of the ribbon using double sided tape or glue, add a gem to each corner and a bow with a gem on the knot to the left of the circle.

Wow where is February whizzing off too!

I know I am a little late posting February's other Monthly Make ideas, I started playing with March's set before I knew it I had forgot!!! And I never got around to posting the samples for Hochanda I will sort that too!

Anyway this months Monthly Make set from Crafty Roo Designs is a fabulously versatile Mr & Mrs  or Mr & Mr or Mrs & Mrs (well you get the picture!) stamp set, if you want to find out more check out the website



Materials

  • February's card pack.
  • Stamp bases.
  • Memento:- a Tuxedo Black, Lady Bug and London Fog.
  • Red and Green marker pens.
  • Glossy Accents. 
  • 4 Crystal gems
  • A5 White Base card, red, black and white card.
  • Double sided tape or glue, 3D foam pads.
  • Craft tools.
How to Make



1) On the front of the A5 white card, randomly second generation stamp the solid heart using London Fog, and over stamp with the outline stamp using Tuxedo Black.
2) Make a mask of the outline heart and cut out the middle, place over the hearts and stamp a single rose into each heart using Lady Bug.
3) Cut out a 10.4cm x 13.5cm piece of black card, a 9.7cm x 12.11cm piece of red card, and a 8,11 x 12cm piece of white card.
4) Onto the piece of white card stamp "Mrs & Mrs" using Tuxedo Black, stamp a single rose across the top and bottom of the card with "&" between the two Mrs's using Lady Bug, mask off the bottom part of the curl on the two Mrs's, (I used the heart mask) and stamp the single rose head in each using Lady bug.
5) Colour in the rose flowers in red and the leaves in green, edge in Lady Bug and centrally adhere to the red piece of card first, then onto the black piece of card using double sided tape or glue, using 3D foam pads centrally adhere to the A5 white card, add a crystal gem to each corner of "Mrs & Mrs" and glossy accent the four red rose flowers.
