This final card for this batch of samples was made using Flutterby Flourish which is a new stamp from Dimension Stamps.
How to make:
- From the front of an 18cmx18cm square white card cut away a
7cm strip from the right hand side, over the remaining card front stamp the
butterfly twice fill in with the ends of the
flourishes using Memento Rich Cocoa.
- Colour in with shades of brown and distress in Tea Dye Distress Ink.
- Attach two pieces of brown ribbon down the left hand side
of the card and add a bow to each ribbon.
- Stamp the butterfly only twice onto white
card in Memento Rich Cocoa, using brown, green, orange and tan colours, colour in the
butterflies.
- Cut out the butterflies and make pair of antennas from brown wire
and attach to the underside of the top butterfly shape the wings and glue the
body’s together.
- Cut a piece of white card 18cmx9cm and stamp the Script stamp (ref: 0604043A) down the card in Memento Rich Cocoa, tear along the two short sides and down
the right hand side and distress with Tea Dye Distress Ink.
- Attach this to an 18cmx8.5cm
piece of green card so you can see green under all the ripped sides trim any
extra off along the straight side, glue to the inside front of the to make a
square card.
- Finally attach the butterfly to the right hand side of the card with 3D
glue, and crackle glaze the top wings.
This cute card was made using a stamp set called Tufties in Love from Dimension Stamps.
How to make:
- Onto an A5 cream pearl card stamp “Forever...” three times across the
top of the card with a heart between them, and one heart in the centre along
the bottom with “Ever After ..” at each side in Memento Toffee Crunch.
- Stamp
the rabbits so their feet are 4.5cm up from the bottom of the card in Memento Rich Cocoa.
- Stamp ”Love...Love...Love...” just under their feet in Memento Toffee Crunch.
- Cut a 12.5cm x 14cm piece of cream pearl card mark the centre of one of
the short sides this will be the top of the arch, stamp the hearts and vines
four times to make the archway in Memento Rich Cocoa.
- Colour in the patches and bow on
the rabbits and the hearts on the vines in purple and the vine in light brown.
- Finally cut out the archway and edge in light brown attach to the card with foam pads.
How to make:
- Cut a 10.5cm x 16cm piece of medium blue card and have the
short sides top and bottom, stamp “Have a fantastic day” in
rows down the card and edge using Memento Paris Dusk.
- Stamp the carrot and cake
along each side of a 8.5cm x 14cm piece of light blue card and edge using Memento Paris
Dusk.
- Stamp Tufty onto a 6.5cm x 13cm piece of white card with the xxx
around Tufty, colour in with blue Promarkers and edge as above.
- Cut a 20cm x 13cm
piece of dark blue card and attach the medium blue piece (Stamped with "Have a fantastic day" of card 1cm in from
the top left hand corner, attach the light blue card (Stamped with carrot and cake) on an angle over the
bottom right hand corner of the medium blue card.
- Next attach Tufty in the bottom
right hand corner with some of the dark blue card showing.
- Attach a piece of
blue and white checked ribbon 2cm up from the bottom right hand corner to about
7.5cm up the left of the card add a bow or just tie a piece of ribbon to it.
- Centrally attach the dark blue card to a white A5 card.
- Finally add three pale blue
card candies across the bottom left and down the right hand corners.
This cute little bunny is another of the new sets from Nina Crafts, this one is called Tufty Wishes.
How to make
- Across the bottom of a small square lilac pearl card stamp
the ladybird (Tufty Wishes NC025) twice at the bottom on the left side in Memento Grape Jelly.
- Then stamp “Sing...Dance...Play...” on an angle down the right hand side of the
card in Memento Grape Jelly.
- Onto a piece of cream pearl card 7.5cm wide and
0.5cm shorter than the card stamp centrally stamp Tufty in Memento Rich Cocoa
with the bees around the edge in Memento Toffee Crunch, colour in with purple and tan Promarkers, mount onto a piece of purple pearl card 8cm wide and the length of
the card, using foam pads attach 2.5cm in from the right hand side of the card.
- Attach a piece of purple ribbon to the space on the left hand side of the card
and tie two pieces of ribbon to it.
And again this card was made using yet another new stamp set by Nina from Dimension Stamps, this one is called Love and Marriage (and quite a few of the other new sets lol!)
How to make:
- Onto a 19cm x 19cm square piece of turquoise card stamp the
wine bottle and glass (Mulled Mavis NC031), stars (Mavis goes swimming NC032),
58 (ABC 123 NC021) and “It’s Your Anniversary” (Occasions NC022) in light blue,
brown and gray inks
- Attached this centrally to a 20cm x 20cm square white card.
- Next stamp
Mavis and Cecil ( Love and Marriage NC032) onto a 9cm x 11cm piece of white card and once
more onto white card.
- Colour in both sets of people and distress around Mavis
and Cecil in Stormy Sky Distress Ink on the 9cm x 11cm
piece of card and mount it onto a 9.8cm x 11.8cm piece of white card, attach to the
bottom right hand corner of the turquoise card with purple photo corners.
- Stamp
the two sayings from the Love and Marriage set onto white card in black ink, trim down the sayings and and mount onto
purple card.
- Stamp “It’s Your Anniversary” (NC022) onto turquoise card in black
ink, trim down so it fits between the photo and edge of the turquoise card, mount
onto purple card top and bottom only.
- Onto a piece of yellow ribbon stamp “
WHAT !!” and “58 YEARS” onto purple ribbon in black fabric ink.
- Cut out the
other Mavis and Cecil attach the yellow ribbon over Cecil right hand shoulder
and fasten down his left hand side to
make a sash, give Mavis the purple sash it will be a bit longer as there is
more on it (you will need to make two slits for the ribbon to go under her
arms).
- Attach Cecil and Mavis to the top left hand corner with 3D glue, attach the two
sayings on an angle in the top right corner of the card, attach “It’s Your
Anniversary” under Mavis and Cecil with a white fabric flower and three purple
die cut leaves in bottom space.
This card has been made using another new stamp set by Nina from Dimension Stamps. This one is called Mullered Mavis.
How to make:
- Randomly stamp the saying "Mavis considered herself.....," the wine
bottle and glass (Mullered Mavis NC031) and “Happy Birthday” (Birthday GloreNC034)
in purple ink, distress with Milled Lavender and Shaded Lilac Distress Ink onto an A5 white card.
- Next stamp Mavis onto
white card and colour with shades of purple and lilac, cut out and mount onto
purple card cut out leaving a narrow border of purple.
- Onto lilac card stamp “
LET’S PARTY” (Plain Alphabet with Words 2400050a) in purple ink over stamp with
the wine bottle and glass, cut out each letter and shape, attach to purple card
on a slight angle down to the right overlapping the letters using 3D glue
glitter glue over the letters when dry cut out the word.
- Attach the words down the
left hand side of the card and Mavis in the top right hand corner using
foam pads, add lots of glitter glue to Mavis.
This card was made using another new stamp set by Nina at Dimension Stamps. This one is called Mavis goes swimming.
How to make:
- Onto an A5 white card stamp “Mavis was glad.......” the
stars and circles (Mavis goes swimming NC032) in pink, lilac and gray ink,
distress with Spun Sugar Distress Ink.
- Onto a 13.5cm x 8.5cm piece of pink card short sides
top and bottom stamp “ Happy Birthday”(Birthday Galore NC024) in rows across
the card in gray, edge the card in pink.
- Next stamp Mavis onto white card in pink and
colour in using shades of pink then cut out.
- Then distress a 12.5cm x 7.5cm piece of
white card using Tea Dye and spun sugar Distress Ink.
- Centrally attach Mavis to this now
centre this onto a 13.5cm x 8.5 piece of white card.
- Attach the stamped pink card
to the bottom right hand corner, with Mavis over this so you can see some of
the Happy Birthday card.
- Next attach a piece of white ribbon down the left hand side
of the card add dark pink.
- Die cut stars
down the ribbon, glitter glue the edges of the stars along the ribbon and the
inside stars on the glasses.
Here is a cute little fella from Nina at Dimension Stamps, this stamp set is called Party Tufty.
How to make
- Cut a 10.5cm x 16cm piece of medium blue card and have the
short sides top and bottom, stamp “Have a fantastic day” (Party Tufty NC027) in
rows down the card and edge using Memento Paris Dusk.
- Stamp the carrot and cake
along each side of a 8.5cm x 14cm piece of light blue card and edge using Mementio Paris
Dusk.
- Stamp Party Tufty onto a 6.5cm x 13cm piece of white card with the xxx
around Tufty, colour in with blue Promarkers and edge as above.
- Cut a 20cm x 13cm
piece of dark blue card and attach the medium blue piece of card 1cm in from
the top left hand corner, attach the light blue card on an angle over the
bottom right hand corner of the medium blue card, with Tufty in the bottom
right hand corner with some of the dark blue card showing.
- Attach a piece of
blue and white checked ribbon 2cm up from the bottom right hand corner to about
7.5cm up the left of the card add a bow or just tie a piece of ribbon to it.
- Finally centrally attach the dark blue card to a white A5 card, add three pale blue
card candies across the bottom left and down the right hand corners.
A while ago I was sent some of the new stamp sets from Dimension Stamps and I have finally got around to having a play! This first card was made using a new Nina Crafts stamp set called Cecil goes fishing!
How to make:
- Stamp the crab and fish around
the outside edges of a small square dark orange card in Memento Rich Cocoa.
- Onto a 9.5cm x 9.5cm square piece of white card stamp Cecil with the crab hanging
onto the net and a fish coming out of the water in Memento Rich Cocoa.
- Colour in the
orange card and Cecil using brown and oranges and distress over Cecil with Tea Dye Distress Ink.
- Next stamp “Cecil took it literally....” onto a piece of white card in Memento Rich
Cocoa trim down and distress in Tea Dye Distress Ink.
- Mount the saying and Cecil onto white
card.
- Finally attach Cecil to the centre of the orange card with brown photo corners,
with the saying across the top right hand corner using two brown brads.
