June Project Club - 18th Birthday

For this one I made a gift tag from a 6.6cm x 11.5cm piece of red card round off the corners on one of the narrow ends, at the other end cut away the corners and punch a hole in the middle, edge with a black marker pen. Also on red card I stamped a dress and hat (Sun dress set ref: 0102021A)  in Tuxedo Black, coloured parts of the dress and hat using a black glitter gel pen, cut out and shape attach to the gift tag with 3Dglue. Thread some black cord through the tag, put a red brad through a small red/black flower , large black flower then through a piece of red ribbon and fasten into the top of the tag.

Onto a 19cm x 19cm square piece of white card stamp the cake with a cube on the top in the bottom right hand corner and the Champagne bottle down the top left hand side, stamp balloons over the rest of the card, stamp 18 in the Champagne bottle, cube and middle balloon of each group, distress the card with Black Soot and Fired Brick, attach a red ribbon across the bottom left hand corner and put a large black brad through the bow into the card, attach to a 20cm x 20cm square red card and attach the gift tag to the top right hand corner.

June Project Club - 21st Birthday

Stamp the cake stand onto lilac card using Memento Grape Jelly, colour in the top border, spots and bottom rim in a lilac glitter gel pen, cut out leaving some of the bottom cake.

Stamp the cakes onto white card using Memento Tuxedo Black, colour the borders in lilac and the stars in pink Promarkers, cut out the cakes and glue to the cake stand.

Cut a piece of pink card 20xm x 13.8cm stamp two of the Champagne bottles at the bottom in Memento Lilac Rose, place the cakes on the card to work out where to stamp the third bottle as the neck of the bottle needs to look as if it’s coming out of the cakes, if need be put a faint mark on the card, remove the cakes and with a versamark ink pad stamp the neck of the bottle and silver emboss it, stamp On Your 21st Birthday around the embossing in Lilac Rose, stamp 21st in the two Lilac Rose Champagne bottles in Tuxedo Black, outline the labels, corks and bubbles in a toning glitter gel pen, edge the card with a silver pen, attach to the centre of an A5 white card, attaching the cakes to the pink card.

June Project Club - 65th Birthday

Onto the front of a 14.8cm x 14.8cm square green card I randomly stamped time flourish (ref: 0605039A)  in Memento Rich Cocoa, and distressed it with Forest Moss,. Stamp the top of the cake stand, a cube and one of the flower clock faces onto green card, colour the border on the stand and cube in a burgundy Promarker, distress the stand and clock as above, cut out the cube, flower clock face and the top flat part of the cake stand (it now looks like a cake board ).

Stamp the cakes onto pale gold pearl card, with On Your 65th Birthday on them and stars where they will fit, colour the borders,  stars and the line at the bottom of each cake in burgundy, cut out the cake and glue to the green cake board.

Cut out a piece of cream card 9.5cm x 12.5cm and distress around the edges with Forest Moss, attach the cake to the bottom of the cream card with the cube on the top, glue the flower clock face to the cube, cross some brown check ribbon at the top of the card and put a burgundy button brad where it crosses, mount onto a 10cm x 13cm piece of brown pearl card, attach to the top right hand side of the card.

June Project Club - Wedding Day

Using a tinted embossing ink pad stamp the cake with the heart trim, the bride and groom onto white card emboss in silver. Colour the heart trim and borders on the cakes and parts of the stand with a turquoise glitter gel pen, and colour in the bride and groom..Cut out these pieces.

Using a die cut two lace edge strips from turquoise pearl paper and attach to each side of a 2.5cm x 21cm strip of silver pearl paper, place do not attach your images onto your card, so you can see where to stamp the Champagne bottles ( which is given free at the workshops ), remove the bits and stamp the top part of the bottle twice at the bottom of the card in silver pigment ink, and once behind where the couple will be in pearlescent blue pigment ink ( Archival Brilliance).

Attach the turquoise and silver strip down the left hand side of the card, attaching a narrow piece of white and silver ribbon down the centre, stamp On Your Wedding Day to the top right hand side of the card in silver ink. Using foam tape or 3D glue, attach the cake and couple to the card.

June Project Club - 1st Birthday

To make this card I randomly stamped a background using the large teddy, balloons and 1st Birthday onto a 14cm x 14cm piece of lilac card using Memento Sweet Plum.

On white card stamp the cakes and top part of the cake stand, stamping over the cakes with the stars, four large teddies and the candle, colour the teddies in lilac, pinks and beige Promarkers, the candle in lilac and yellow, the top and the bottom  cake pink stars and borders, the middle cake and stand lilac, cut out all the pieces.

Cut a piece of lilac card 9.5cm x 10.5cm the 9.5cm across the top and bottom, attach the cake and candle in the centre of the lilac card, across the top two corners stamp the longer row of stars, mount onto a piece of 10cm x 11cm white card, attach some lilac chiffon ribbon to the top left hand corner.

Make a white square 14.8cm x 14.8cm uneven gatefold card (the narrow right hand of 5cm), cut the lilac backing card to fit both sides leaving a narrow white border showing, centre the cake card and attach to the left side gatefold only, attach a teddy to the bottom fold corners.

On the inside stamp the inside with stars and attach the other two teddies.

June Project Club - New Baby

Using the longest row of stars stamps stamp around the edge of a square 14.8cm x 14.8cm piece of pale blue card, and, again on the inside of a square 14.8cm x 14.8cm white card. On the white square card have the open ends of the card facing you and score down from the top left hand corner to the bottom right hand corner of the front of the card only.

Onto a piece of white card stamp the cakes (only the cakes will be used from this one), one large teddy, two of the small teddies and seven cubes in Paris Dusk. Then stamp in black the stars on the cake and randomly over the cubes, stamp the top part of the cake stand onto silver pearl card and New Baby on the cubes (I made a mask so only the letter needed was stamped ).

Colour the stamped images I used grey and blue Promarkers and then cut them out, rounding off the top of the cake stand so we can glue the white cake to this.

Cut a 10cm x 11cm piece of medium blue pearl card, down the longer edges glue New Baby on,  glue the white cake to what remains of the silver cake, shape the stand, cake and large teddy cut  a piece of foam tape to go up the middle of the three shaped pieces, attach to the pearl card then centre onto the blue stamped card, with the fold of the white card to your left attach the blue card to the bottom right hand corner.

Onto a 6.5cm x 1.8cm piece of white card stamp Congratulations with some stars at each end, mount onto a 7cm x 2.2cm piece of medium blue pearl card, stamp the stars around the edge of 8cm x 3cm piece of pale blue card, attach congratulations to the centre of this, with foam tape attach to the inside of the card across the bottom right hand corner to keep the card open.

Word Perfect

I have been working with the new stamp Word Perfect (ref: 1803160a) from Dimension stamps, it is just fantastic and just so versatile.

Here are the cards I came up with

For details on how they were made click here or click on "Alphabets and all things wordy" on the right hand side.

Other examples of cards made using these stamps can be found on the Dimension stamps blog or visit Craftyroo.blogspot.com for some "different" ideas!

Wine Cosy???

I am really not sure what you would call this, it is almost like a teapot cosy but for a wine glass so Wine cosy kinda fits (apols if there is an actual name!)

To make I cut circles out of felt both slighty bigger than the wine glass base. One of the circles I cut in half then sewed along the cut edges (I used a zig zag stitch). Once these edges were sewn, I sewed the two halves to the whole circle. I used The Occasional Orchid (ref: 2400066a) stamp from Dimension Stamps to create the Orchid. I then glued this to the Wine.

Now I just need the wine........
