For this card I have used the ‘A Christmas Star’ stamp set (ref: 2400069a.)
How to make:
Trim the front of a 14.8cm x 14.8cm square 2.5cm in from the
top left hand fold across to 2.5cm up from the bottom right hand corner.
Cut
two piece of blue card one to fit the front of the card (triangle shaped) and the other to fit
the inside back of the card leaving a narrow white border, using memento Paris
dusk stamp the taller of the two swirls from the main stamp, along each side
twice with a snowflake in each corner on both pieces, distress to just over the
borders with stormy sky edge with a dark blue glitter pen, attach the square to
the inside back of the card. Attach a piece of blue ribbon across the bottom
left hand corner of the shaped piece and attach to the front of the card.
Stamp
the large poinsettia once onto white card cut out leaving a border around the
whole stamp, distress the edges with stormy sky and edge with a dark blue
glitter pen, attach to the front of the card so some of the stamped piece is
over the cut off edge.
Stamp the flower head five times more onto white card,
cut one full flower head and less leaves from the next four, distress the
leaves on the full flower head, shape all five pieces, brush over the last four
pieces with mod podge sparkle, when dry decoupage the five pieces onto the stamp
one on the card, add some white pearls to the centre of the flower.
Stamp
"Season’s Greetings" onto blue card cut out edge with a dark blue glitter pen and
attach to the ribbon.
