Project Club: Have a ball....

Here is the last card I made this month using the Dimension Stamps Project Club set. If you are interested in joining the project club please visit the Dimension Stamps website for more information.


How to make
  • Cut a 20 cm x 13.8 cm piece of cream card and mask of 1.5cm from one of the 20cm sides which will be the bottom of the card, stamp four tennis rackets across the card standing just above the mask in Memento Rich Cocoa.
  • In the mesh on the first racket to the left hand side spell out “HAVE” in a tan marker.
  • In the centre of the second “A”.
  • Colour in the third with the tan marker, “ON” in the last one.
  • Stamp “YOUR” down the right hand side of the card in Memento Rich Cocoa, distress around the edges of the card in Tea Dye Distress Ink.
  • Next stamp “BIRTHDAY” onto a 1.2cm x 8.2cm piece of cream card in Memento Rich Cocoa.
  • Mount onto brown card and punch a hole in each end, thread a narrow piece of brown ric rac braid through the back of “HAPPY BIRTHDAY” holding this in place at the centre bottom of the card with foam pads, tape the braid to the back of the card, centrally attach to an A5 brown card.
  • Stamp a tennis ball, colour in, cut out and shape using 3D glue attach to the third tennis racket.

Project Club: Tennis Facecloth

A must have for any tennis match is a good facecloth/ towel. And this months Project Club stamps are just perfect for customizing your very own!



How to make 

Cut, wash and iron a 7.5cm x 31cm piece of white fabric, stamp the tennis ball in the centre with a tennis racket on each side in black Versacraft ink, when dry iron for two minutes, colour in with fabric paint following all instructions and advice, when dry sew onto a white face cloth.

Project Club: Tennis is Downright Smashing

As soon as read the sentiments on this months Dimension Stamps project club set, I had to make this card.......


How to make

  • Cut a 13.8cm x 13.8cm piece of yellow card, randomly stamp the score board on the back and front in Memento Desert Sand, on the back mark a spot off centre to the left and around this draw a 10.5cm circle, using a craft knife cut lines radiating out to the edge of the circle.
  • At the top on the front of the card stamp “Tennis is Downright Smashing” in Memento Rich Cocoa
  • Stamp the tennis racket four times onto white card in Memento Tuxedo Black, from two of the rackets cut out the mesh and the v shape on the handle, glue fabric mesh over the cut out mesh on the two tennis rackets, let the glue go over the outside edge press down and leave to dry, colour in the other two rackets cut out the frames only and glue over the top of the ones with the mesh on press together and leave to dry.
  • Glue a piece of narrow white ribbon to the top of a piece of fabric mesh 12cm x 5.5cm, push the cut pieces of yellow card from the back to the front of the card to make an opening.
  • Cut a 13cm x 13cm square piece of grass green card and attach the bottom of the mesh to one side and attach the ribbon, cut out the two tennis rackets and try not to hold the mesh, glue one of the tennis rackets just above the net and trim the handle to fit the green card.
  • Stamp the tennis ball twice in Memento Tuxedo Black, colour in, cut out and glue together with a piece of thread in the middle attach to the top of green card so it hangs just over the net, attach the green card to the back of the yellow card and centrally attach to a 14.8cm x 14.8cm medium green card, glue the other tennis racket to the bottom left corner.

Project Club: Engagement Card

When I saw the tennis rackets in this months Dimension Stamps Project Club set I just had to try to add some letters.

This card would work well with initials too if names are too long.....


 How to Make

  • Cut a 20cm x 13.8cm piece of light blue card, cut out a heart shape 1.5cm down from the top large enough for two rackets to fit inside.
  • Stamp two tennis rackets onto white card in Memento Tuxedo Black, colour in and put the name or just the initials on the tennis racket nets using the same colour.
  • Stamp the score card onto light blue card in Memento Tuxedo Black, onto the score board stamp “Congratulations On Your Engagement” (Occasions NC022, Popular Phrases NC023) in Memento  Danube Blue.
  • Cut out and mount onto a 13.8cm x 6cm piece of brown pearl card.
  • Attach a piece of toning backing paper to the back of the cut out heart on the light blue card.
  • Attach a narrow piece of brown ribbon across the top of the blue card and the score card to the bottom, now centrally attach to an A5 white card.
  • Cut out and glue the two tennis rackets into the heart.
  • Die cut two corner flourishes (Sizzix 658527 Estate) from brown pearl card and attach to each side above the score board.

Project Club: Play like a Champion today

I love how this card turned out, it is so simple and quick to make but I think it looks great!

 

 How to make

  • Onto a 14.8cm x 14.8cm square Kraft card stamp “Play like a Champion Today” 8mm up from the bottom of the card in Memento Tuxedo Black.
  • Onto a 13.8 x 10.5cm piece of white card randomly stamp parts the tennis racket three times, and fill in the spaces with the tennis ball using Memento Tuxedo Black, colour in the rackets and balls.
  • Mount first onto a 13.8cm x 11.3cm piece of medium green card then onto a 13.8cm x 12.1cm piece of light green card.
  • Attach to the square Kraft card and add Glossy Accents to the handles of the tennis rackets.

Project Club: Love

 This months Project Club set from Dimension Stamps is all about tennis. The stamps are so much fun to work with!

This first card is all about Love......


How to make

  • Cut a 13.8cm x 13.8cm square piece of white card and emboss around the edges in silver.
  • Centrally attach it to a 14.8cm x 14.8cm square red card.
  • Cut two 5.5cm x 5.5cm and two 4.5cm x 4.5cm square pieces of card in both red and black.
  • Emboss in sliver around the edges of all the four 4.5cm squares.
  • Stamp four tennis ball onto white card in Memento Tuxedo Black colour in and cut them out.
  • Die cut L, V, E, (Sizzix 656623 Vintage Market) twice both from red and black card, attach to the opposite coloured 4.5cm x 4.5cm square card using the tennis ball to spell out “LOVE”, mount onto the opposite colour 5.5cm x 5.5cm square card and attach onto the white card.

Project Club: Single Rose Easel Card

This is the final Card I made this month using the Project Club stamps from Dimension Stamps



How to Make: 
  • A 14.8cm x 14.8 square ivory easel card was used for this card.
  • Randomly stamp the heart flourish onto the back inside of the card in Memento Dessert Sand, distress around the edges in Antique Linen.
  • Cut a 13.3cm x 13.3cm piece of ivory card and stamp the top of the large heart in each corner, and half the heart twice down each side with the points to the middle in Memento Dessert Sand.
  • Stamp the rose on an angle across the card in Memento Rich Cocoa, distress over the hearts in Antique Linen.
  • Colour the leaves and the top edge of the petals in a light tan Promarker.
  • Attach a piece of 1cm pale gold chiffon ribbon with a bow or knot across the top left hand corner.
  • Mount first onto a 13.8cm x 13.8cm gold card then onto a 14.8cm x 14.8cm piece of ivory card, attach the front bottom half of the easel card.
  • Centrally stamp the border onto a 14.8cm x 2.4cm piece of ivory card in Memento Rich Cocoa mount onto a 14.8cm x 3cm piece of gold card, then onto a 14.8cm x 3.6cm piece of ivory card, attach to the stamped inside of the card with 3D foam tape where you wish the card to stand open.
  • Stamp “Love is” in Memento Rich Cocoa on ivory card trim down to 5.5cm x 3.5cm mount onto a 6cm x 4cm piece of gold card, then onto a 6.7cm x 4.7cm piece of ivory card attach to the centre of the border strip with 3D foam tape.
  • Stamp the leaves once and the flower head three times in Rich Cocoa onto ivory card, colour in the leaves and the top edge of the petals in a light tan Promarker, cut out and shape the leaves attach with 3D glue to the card.
  • Cut out and shape the flower heads cutting a little less out each time and decoupage onto the card with 3D glue.
  • Finally add gold ice stickles to the top edges of the petals.   

Project Club: Forever

Here is another Valentines card made using this months Project Club set.



How to Make: 
  • Cut a 8cm x 19cm piece of white card, stamp the heart flourish at the bottom in Memento Tuxedo Black but only ink the bottom three swirls, mask off up to where the swirls join and stamp the rose so it looks as if it’s in a vase.
  • Colour the stem, leaves and the bottom of the flourish in a light gray Promarker, and the rose and hearts in red, edge in black.
  • Next stamp “With Love” (Grand Word Perfect 1803061A) onto a small die cut red gift tag in Memento Tuxedo Black edge in silver, tie to narrow  white silver edge ribbon and attach around the white card above the small heart on the flourish.
  • Glue the tag in  place on the card and attach to the left hand side of a red A5 card.
  • From black card die cut “FOR EVER” (Sizzlits 656623 Vintage Market Alphabet) and attach on an angle down the right of the card.
  • Finally add glossy accents the red rose.


Project Club: Red Hearts

These stamps are just perfect for making all those Valentines cards..


How to Make
  • Randomly stamp the large heart and “Love is” onto a 20.2cmx6cm piece of white card in Memento London Fog.
  • Attach two pieces of 1cm black chiffon ribbon down the card 1cm in from each side.
  • Mount onto a 21cm x 6.8cm piece of red card and centrally attach to a black DL card.
  • Onto red card stamp three large hearts in black pigment ink and black emboss then and the “love is” sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black, cut the “Love is” to 3.5cm x x5.5cm round off the corners and edge in black.
  • Attach to the bottom of the white card with 3D foam pads.
  • Cut out and shape the three hearts, attach on an angle down the centre reversing the middle one with 3D glue.
  • Tie a piece of ribbon between the first and second hearts on the left ribbon and the second and third on the right ribbon.
  • Finally add three red gems down the top right hand corner and one to the top right and bottom left hand corners of the “Love is”.

Project Club: Thinking of You

I really like the rose stamp from this months set, so I wanted to make a card just using that stamp. 



How to Make:
  • Stamp the Rose onto a 6cmx15.5cm piece of white card with “Thinking of You” (Grand Word Perfect 1803061A) at the bottom in Memento Tuxedo Black, and the Rose head once onto a spare piece of white card.
  • Colour in the leaves and stem in black and gray Promarkers.
  • Mount first onto silver then black card.
  • Tie a piece of narrow silver edge white ribbon about 5.5cm up from the bottom of the card.
  • Centrally attach to a white DL card.
  • Cut the front petal off the spare Rose head shape and attach above “Thinking of You” to the right of the stem.
  • Finally add Diamond Stickles to the top of the petals.

Project Club: 18th Birthday

Whoops I really thought I had posted these cards before Christmas but thinking about posting and actually posting are two different things - I blame it on the Eggnog, lol!

So anyway without any further delays here are Decembers Project Club cards.......

First up Happy 18th Birthday



How to Make: 
  • Cut a 5cm strip from the front side edge of an A5 burgundy card.
  • Onto 6.8cm x 20.5cm piece of cream card stamp the stamp heart flourish twice leaning to the left in Memento Rhubarb Stalk, and distress in Distressed ink Aged Mahogany.
  • Attach it to the inside back of the card leaving a narrow border.
  • Next cut a 7.5cm x 20.5cm piece of cream card and stamp and distress the heart flourish as before but leaning to the right.
  • Attach to front cut edge of the card leaving a narrow border.
  • Centrally stamp the heart flourish onto a 8cm x 12cm piece of cream card and distress around the edges, mount onto a 9cm x 13cm piece of burgundy card and attach by the left side to the front so it’s centred over the two stamped pieces of card.
  • Down the left hand side attach a satin edge piece of cream chiffon ribbon and tie two pieces of ribbon to it, add a fabric flower to the top of the ribbon, die cut 18 Today (Sizzlits 656916 Upon a Time Alphabet) from burgundy card, attach 18 to the bottom left hand corner of the single flourish and Today under it on the front of the card.
  • Finally add three cream card candies to the centre flourish and a burgundy one to the flower, glossy accent 18 Today and the hearts on the centre flourish panel.

Project Club: Christmas door

For this card I dug through my Christmas papers and again just used one of this months Dimension Stamps Project Club set. 



How to Make:
  • Cut three pieces of Christmas backing paper (all three pieces together) to 13.8cm x 20cm cutting from the top right hand corner along the top and down the right side cut in sections down into the bottom left hand corner,(make sure you have the top corner in one section) keeping them in order as you cut them, working on three pieces of thin card and starting in the top right hand corner work the three patterns in order,(it takes time but it looks good, you may need to trim it).
  • Mount one piece onto red card with a 2mm border.
  • Stamp the door onto a 7cm x 14.5cm piece of cream card in Memento Rich Cocoa mount onto a piece of brown pearl card with a 3mm border.
  • Stamp the door three times onto red card in Memento Tuxedo Black and the wreath twice in Memento Rich Cocoa.
  • Cut out one red door, the large panels, door knob and letterbox from another, and from the last cut out the small panels, assemble the door.
  • Colour the door knob and letterbox in gold.
  • Cut out the two wreaths cutting away more from the second one shape and glue together.
  • Attach the red door over the door on the cream card attach this in the bottom left hand corner of the patterned card.
  • Cut out a 6.5cm scalloped circle from cream card stamp the Christmas sentiment across it in rows in Memento Rich Cocoa, distress the edge in Festive Berries Distress Ink and attach to the top right hand corner with a green brad.
  • Finally add a red bow to the left of the brad, colour the windows yellow and go over with gold ice stickles put some on the wreath too.

Project Club: Christmas Bells on a Tag

And another card using just the bells from this months Dimension Stamps Project Club stamp set.



 How to Make:

  • Cut a 9cm x 20cm piece of worded Christmas backing paper mount onto a 9.5cm x 20.5cm piece of cream pearl paper then onto a dark red DL card.
  • Make a gift tag from a 9cm x 5.5cm piece of dark red card round off the corners and edge in gold, punch a hole in the top and thread through some pale gold satin ribbon.
  • Attach to the bottom of the card on an angle using 3Dfoam pads.
  • Stamp the bells three times and the ribbon and holly twice more onto cream pearl card, colour the ribbons, bell clanger in tan, the leaves in green and the berries in red promarkers, cut out one set of bells as it is and cut a little bit more away each time, shape and decoupage them together with 3Dglue onto the bottom of the tag.

Project Club: Christmas Bells

Here is another card made just using one of this months Dimension Stamps Project Club set.



 How to Make: 

  • Stamp the bells into each corner of a small white square card using Memento Grape Jelly.
  • Colour the ribbons in lilac and distress around the card in Dusty Concord Distress Ink.
  • Cut out a 7cm hexagon from white card and stamp the Christmas sentiment in rows across it in Memento Grape Jelly, distress the edges in Dusty Concord Distress Ink and mount this onto an 8cm dark lilac hexagon.
  • Attach centrally to the card.
  • Stamp the bells onto lilac card, the ribbon onto dark lilac card and the holly onto white card in Memento Grape Jelly.
  • Cut out the bells, ribbon and holly and glue in place.
  • Colour the holly berries in silver.
  • Shape the bells and using 3D glue attach to the centre of the hexagons.
  • Add purple glitter glue to the ribbon and silver glitter glue to all the remaining leaves and holly berries.

Project Club: Small Christmas Wreath

This card is a smaller version of the Dimension Stamps main project club card!



 How to Make: 

  • Stamp the wreath twice onto medium green card in Memento Rich Cocoa colour in with two shades of green and red.
  • Cut out one wreath as it is but cut more away from the other wreath.
  • Shape the wreaths and add glitter glue to the stamp tinsel parts.
  • When dry glue together with 3D glue.
  • Cut 6.5cm x 9.5cm piece of cream hammer finish card round off the corners and edge in gold.
  • Cut a 3cm strip from the front right side edge of a 10.5cm x 14.8cm cream hammer finish card.
  • Edge the inside edges of the card that can be seen in gold,.
  • Cut a 2.5cm x 14.8cm strip of dark red card with one of the long edges being a fancy cut edge attach to the front card so the straight edge is over the cut edge of the card.
  • Stamp “Happy Christmas” in gold in the top left hand corner of the card.
  • Attach the cream piece of card on an angle across the card using 3Dfoam pads. 
  • Attach a piece of dark red ribbon across the back of the wreath centrally attach to the cream piece of card using 3Dglue.
  • Finally add a dark red bow to the wreath.

Project Club: Gifts Galore

This months Dimensions Stamps Project Club stamp set is just great to work with as you can make a card using any one of the stamps and you get a completely different look and feel to the card!



How to Make: 

  • Distress around the edges of a white DL card in Stormy Sky Distress Ink.
  • Attach a piece of dark blue chiffon ribbon down the left hand side of the card.
  • Stamp the large parcel onto dark blue card in dark blue pigment ink and clear emboss them.
  • Next stamp three large boxes onto light blue card in embossing ink and silver emboss them.
  • Cut out the dark blue boxes and the ribbons only from light blue and glue together.
  • Cut out a 1.5cm strip of light blue card stamp “Wishing You” then a gap “Peace and Happiness” then a gap “at Christmas” in Memento Paris Dusk, roughly cut out each set of words and mount onto dark blue card leaving a narrow border.
  • Attach the three boxes down the right hand side of the card with 3D foam pads and the words over the ribbon the first one just above the top box.
The best part about this card is just change the sentiment and it’s a quick card for a birthday!!!

Project Club: Christmas Door

This months Dimension Stamps Project Club sets should landing on those door mats any day now! And it's a lovely Christmas set that got me thinking about making a start on my Christmas cards.



How to make: 

  • Stamp the door once onto cream card in Memento Rich Cocoa.
  • Three times onto red card in Memento Tuxedo Black.
  • The wreath twice onto green card in Memento Tuxedo Black.
  • Cut out the cream door with frame and colour the windows yellow and add gold sparkles over the windows.
  • Cut out one red door only, the large panels and letter box from another, and the small panels from the last one.
  • Glue the letterbox and panels in order on the red door.
  • Colour the letterbox silver.
  • Paint 3d gloss or varnish over the door and leave to dry.
  • Use a silver brad as the door knob.
  • Cut out the wreaths cutting away more from the second one and attach to the door.
  • Cut a 12cm x 17cm piece of cream card and stamp the sentiment across the top and with three small presents in the bottom right hand corner in Memento Rich Cocoa.
  • Distress around the edges in Tea Dye Distress Ink and edge in Rich Cocoa.
  • Attach a piece of red ribbon 2cm down from the top right corner to 2cm up from the bottom left corner tie a piece of ribbon to the top right hold in place with a large Christmas brad.
  • Finally attach to a 5x7 inch cream card with the door in the bottom left hand corner.

Project Club: Main card for August

Here is this months main project club card from Dimension Stamps. All of the things you need to make it are included with the project club stamps.

How to make:
  • Trim 1cm off one long and one short side of an A5 piece of pale green card, stamp the tree in the top left and bottom right hand corners, with the Cherry Blossom words in the other two corners using Memento Toffee Crunch.
  • Colour in the tree trunk and branches in a tan Promarker.
  • Attach a piece of brown chiffon ribbon 2cm in down the right hand side of the piece of card.
  • Fold a piece of A4 Kraft card in half and centrally attach the pale green piece of card to it.
  • Cut a 17.5cm x 7.5cm piece of medium green card and  mark 3cm in from each corner across one of the 7.5cm ends and 4cm down each side, cut these corners off to make a tag shape, punch a hole in the top and use a corner punch on the bottom two corners, round off the cut edges.
  • Using Memento Rich Cocoa stamp the tree in the middle of the tag, fill in the top and bottom with the Cherry Blossom words, colour in the tree trunk and branches in tan.
  • Stamp three birds onto medium green card in Memento Rich Cocoa and cut them out.
  • Make a bow from raffia and attach to the tag.
  • Attach the tag on an angle from the top left to the bottom right hand corner using foam pads, shape and attach the birds to the bottom of the card with 3D glue and apply glossy accent to them, add gold stickles to some of the blossom on the green tag.

Project Club: Turquoise Screen

I couldn't resist making a screen shaped card as soon as I saw these stamps!



How to make:
  • Make an A4 piece of turquoise card into a gate fold card, round off the front top edges 9.5cm at the front edge to 15cm at the fold then round off the back corners.
  • Mark off 1cm up and out from the bottom folds and centre of the card cut away to make legs.
  • On the cut off piece of card stamp three birds in Memento Tuxedo Black, colour in with a darker turquoise pen, cut out shape and apply glossy accent leave to dry.
  • Open out the card and on the inside back stamp the tree in the top centre using Memento Tuxedo Black, under this stamp “Happy Birthday”(an old Hot of the Press stamp), on each inside front  stamp the three symbols across the bottom, with a fan stamped above them in which  two birds have been stamped.

  • Colour in the birds, the top edge, down the side of the fan, tree trunk and branches with the turquoise pen.
  • Turn the card over and stamp bamboo (a very old Stampin Up stamp) on the two fronts of the card in black ink.
  • Cut two strips of white card to fit across the fronts of the card and 2 cm deep.
  • First stamp part of the tree in turquoise ink then over stamp with the three symbols in black, mount onto black card and attach to the fronts 0.5cm up from the bottom of the screen.
  • Stamp the tree in turquoise ink onto two 9cm x 7.5cm pieces of white card, colour in the trunk and branches with a turquoise pen, over stamp with the fan in black ink, cut out and punch a hole in the bottom thread through narrow turquoise ribbon add three iridescent beads to each end of the ribbon, attach to the fronts of the card with foam pads.
  • Finally attach the three birds around the top of the tree with 3D glue add blue glitter glue to the top edge of two white fans and to some of the blossom on the back tree.
